Apply:

Applications are available from our admissions team and will be available at the end of all tours. (Online application coming soon).

Student Assessment:

Your application will be reviewed, and a member of our admissions team will contact you to schedule a student assessment if needed.

Parent/Guardian Interview:

A member of our admissions team will contact you to schedule an on-campus interview with one of our administrative team members. Both parents (as applicable) will need to attend the interview. Middle and high school students seeking admission to Moses Lake Christian Academy will need to attend their family's interview.

Admissions Decision:

Admissions decisions are based on the strength of each applicant’s overall application with a focus on four criteria aligned to the Moses Lake Christian Academy mission: spiritually minded, academically versed, socially balanced, and parent partnership. Parents/guardians will receive one of three decision notifications:

  • Accepted: Applicant meets the admission criteria of Moses Lake Christian Academy and enrollment will be offered.
  • Candidate Pool: Applicant meets the admission criteria of MLCA, but the number of enrolled students exceeds the class capacity. If/when openings in a class occur, a qualified applicant will be selected from the candidate pool and offered enrollment.
  • Non-Acceptance: Applicant does not meet MLCA’s admission criteria and enrollment will not be offered.

Enrollment expectations

Academic excellence

MLCA evaluates report cards for grade level performance in all subjects. Report cards should show a consistent effort with no drops in academic or behavioral performance.

Behavior Development

Students & parents must be in good standing and must not exhibit behavior that is disruptive to the school or the MLCA community. Students & parents must exhibit behavior, both in & out of school, that is consistent with MLCA's Lifestyle agreement.

Spiritual

Growth

MLCA encourages parents/guardians to be professing believers in Jesus Christ and agree with the school’s statement of faith. We encourage students and their parents to be involved in a Christ-centered church.

Financial responsibility

Families who previously withdrew from MLCA and did not fulfill their tuition contract must clear all financial obligations before an admissions application will be accepted. All financial obligations to MLCA must be kept current.
