Our classes are led by teaching professionals who value and get to know each student. They help choose the curriculum that works best for their classroom environment and work hard to find fun, new ways to engage students in the learning process. We average a 14:1 student to teacher ratio which allows for individual attention and classroom relationship building.
All of our classes are taught from a Biblical Worldview and each week students come together to learn and worship in chapel. We are committed to helping students develop a life-long faith relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our students are trained and encouraged to develop strong character and values. We provide each student with opportunities to serve in the community and develop leadership skills. Our Buddy Chapel program develops mentor relationships where older students can develop as leaders and younger students can see strong character modeled.
MLCA provides numerous opportunities for students to learn outside of the classroom setting. Elementary classes get new experiences and learning opportunities by participating in numerous field trips. Our secondary students participate in Extended Learning Week where they leave the classroom to learn and grow in the community, across the state or even in other countries.
Education works best when schools and parents partner together. Parent involvement at MLCA is not just encouraged it is vital. There are numerous ways parents can stay connected and be involved from helping in the classroom to praying for our students and teachers.
