For about 30 years, MLCA has been hosting a fundraising auction every fall. The money earned from this auction helps to off-set the educational expenses not covered fully by student tuition.
Every year is a different theme; which is carefully chosen by Committee Chair Jeni Chandler and her small army of parent volunteers. This auction is made possible by the many generous donations procured throughout the community as well as our MLCA families.
Each class (Pre-School-12th) creates an auction project item, which can generate up to thousands of dollars. We hold a dessert frenzy where auction attendee’s can bid on delicious homemade desserts as well as a raffle for first pick of a LIVE auction item or a ½ year’s worth of tuition. This event is currently being held every November in the ATEC Building on the campus of Big Bend Community College.
